Services: visual research and identity design for Grain.
Because of its name — simply "Grain" — I wanted the visual identity to go back to its origins: the roots of breadmaking itself—one of the oldest crafts in human civilization To reference harvest, grain, and the hands that have worked with them for centuries, I sourced and curated imagery from open-source library archives, including artifacts from Egypt’s New Kingdom and illustrations by Aristide Maillol (1937–50) The typography reflects the imperfect, hand-carved details, reinforcing the tactile, timeworn beauty of traditional grain cultivation.
